Tonight everything is changing ...
Assassination Tango (Multi 2)
Starring Kathy Baker, Robert Duvall, Ruben Blades, Frank Gio, Julio Oscar Mechoso, James Keane, Katherine Micheaux Miller and Luciana Pedraza.
Robert Duvall directs here, weaving the disparate worlds of murder and dance in this quirky and sometimes impressionistic comedy drama. John (Duvall), an old-school Coney Island-area hit man, is offered a lucrative job in Argentina. He doesn't really want to take it, and his reluctance to leave his beloved stepdaughter Jenny (Micheaux Miller) and miss her birthday party fuels his obstinacy. But, assured he will be back in time, he takes the job. Once in Buenos Aries, the assassination plot begins to unfold, then sputter, and finally falls apart as the target fails to show up. Needless to say, John misses Jenny's big day, and to get his mind off of things, he catches a traditional Argentinean tango performance. With a reverence for American dance, John is totally blown away by this thrillingly expressive form, and infiltrates the tango circuit through Manuela (Pedraza), a glowing but modest partner. She and her sister escort John through the history and motion that is tango, while in the meantime the assassination plot picks back up as the target finally returns to Buenos Aries. Much like the dance it depicts, the film navigates between one world of murderous intrigue and conspiracy, and the other of sensual elegance and high-art aesthetics.
Ocean's Twelve (Multi 2)
Starring Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle, Julia Roberts, Bernie Mac, Casey Affleck, Matt Damon and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
It’s been three years since Danny Ocean (Clooney) and his crew - fronted by detail man Rusty Ryan (Pitt), up-and-coming pickpocket Linus Caldwell (Damon), explosives expert Basher Tarr (Cheadle) and safecracker Frank Catton (Mac) - pulled off one of the most audacious and lucrative heists in history, robbing ruthless entrepreneur Terry Benedict (Garcia) of every dime stored in his impenetrable Las Vegas vault. After splitting the $160 million take, each of the infamous Ocean’s crew have tried to go straight, lay low and live a legit life ... but that’s proven to be a challenge, much to the chagrin of Danny’s wife Tess (Roberts). When someone breaks Rule Number One and rats them out to Benedict, going straight is no longer an option. He wants his $160 million back - with interest - or else. And, as the gang quickly discovers, Benedict isn’t the only powerful person in the world looking for Ocean’s Eleven...

If only he could re-live his last day with her and put things right. If only ...
