has anyone got a link to the site that lets you see what segment of virgin your house is in,as i am moving to a new house(1 mile away)next week so im hopeing its in the same segment as i cant change the mac on my 4200 due to a knackered usb port.

U not got an NIC???

I never recomend using USB for modems unless it absolutely necessary because of the system resources used by it.

Might be an idea to scan ure area for macs anyway and then find someone u can use there pc to change the MAC if necessary.

i have got a nic if you do a search on my threads you can see ive been having probs with the ethernet conection with my modem
