I have a Surfboard modem but its blown a voltage regulator - the part number is on the blown part so I dont know what the part is, to order a replacement.
Would a member who has a Surfboard please help me out here by taking 5 minutes to open it and check the make and number of the regulator?
Where-abouts is this regulator I hear you ask??
On the power side of the board is a 4 pin voltage regulator, its the only one that is standing up on a heatsink - jot down the numbers printed on the front of it.
If anyone has a schematic of a surfboard could they check that out for the needed part number or even better still, forward a copy to me?
Surfboards are popular modems and I am sure there must be a good few members with them already opened - please help me out here lads.
