modern hardcore house?

Give us an example mate. You sound like a Raindance raver from the late 80's

it should be banned its all crap,no need for this type of "music"its talentless repetitve noise that has no artistic merit or talent required to make

is it me or is it just oldskool house speeded up with people on helium?

what do you mean?

all his vocals sound as if its a wee guy on hellium but i love it!!

Cheers

Some of the hardcore from 92-94 sounded something like what dave is referring to

happy hardcore is a scene a culture and part of that culture is the drug scene mainly e and cocaine and whilst on that type of drug you need a fast tune with a good bass line to dance to.

I liked hardcore as a teenager but now much prefer hard house, funky house, electro etc but i do like some of the newer future hardcore.

i also like indie bands and some pop guns n roses green day nirvana only thing i cant stand is RnB

each to there own though eh :)

lol, went to Dreamscape, and back in the day a couple of warehouse raves(illegal of course), Quadrant park and Shelly's stoke.

i'd have to take about 10 g's of whizz to keep up with that scooter crap.

ooo, did anyone used to collect loads of flyers after clubs and use them as wallpaper :)

also i could perform better tunes on my old Rolf Harris Stylophone!

Ahhh the memories of purple ohms, penguins, e's....I think thats why my brain doesn't function properly any more.

So you did the scene up north? I used to do to most of the eaves in London with my favourite being anything that I cant remember. Raindance in Jenkins Lane, Utopia at Michael Sobers Studios and some great raves in Essex.

Things are far far too commercialised these days unless you know some people who know some people and these mini raves are few and far between.

Rumour has it, there's an old skool tune constantly playing somewhere in all that hollowness.

I was never into the 'uppers'. I preferred all the mind f*ck stuff like trips. What was I talking about again? LOL

munk, take it your from down south? Mitsubishi, dennis the menises and there was a yellow one, cant remember the name, rin a bell.

Yep London. I remember the Mits but I think they came in the mid 90's and not the late 80's. I never did a DTM. I do recall doves of various assortments. I haven't done a pill in years and wouldn't like to either.

Trips OTH..let me at 'em let me at 'em

That's a great point. You can buy a pill for next to nothing where as for around 10 odd years the prices never went below a tenner each, it must make you wonder what the hell is in there.

Next time you're in Dam bring back some trips :)

never liked Carl Cox, but i have seen Prodigy and N-Joi live at the pleasuredrome/bowlers, best act ever, also saw 808 state with MC tunes, was good aswell

I saw The Prodigy at Glastobury in 95 and they are the best act I have ever seen too. Radiohead come a close second but a completely different genre.
