Modems with strange flashing light seqence

I asked this in another thread but no 1 ansered. If yr modem has been force upgraded by N*L should you leave it connected to the cable?
As well as shutting them down wot else could NTL have done? Could they be used to trace people ?

your modem is ****ed, u can leave it in the feed as long as u want, it will do **** all.

ure modems firmware is corrupt, its on firmware 100/120 on a 200 = incompaitable

if u can reflash the modem with a pre-updated 200 dump usin a willem then do it

if not, buy a pre-updated 100 or 120 and alter the mac, and let it update, will work fine then

theres no point in leaving it conected cuz i wont work any way? well mine dident:mad: but i would take the feed out just to be safe

ntl have been smart about this, they know most folk who have a cloned modem are people who buy it off traders, now their modems are ****ed, they will probs just go back to ntl and pay for the service, others might get another cloned one, others won't

cyptik ur right m8 ;) :D hence y i pay for my internet coz if i didnt and me modem got fubared id be screwed
