Have a question regarding ecu map and Immo code,
A friend of mine and me tried to put my tuned map into his car (same ecu, same engine) but it turned out that the Immo was striking, that means my map was putted together with my code and couldn^t reused in other car.
We had some other tuned map that we putted in his car afterwards and it worked, does this mean its not necceserely to put in the immo code into the map?
And does this mean maybe that the map that we putted into his car now has his immo code?

Sorry for the delay, Im using Mpps HW for that.
Anybody any idea how to virginize my file?

Hi
Mpps not bad but I always prefer FG galetto or Kess
Regards

Is there any dedicated software to do this for Bosch ECUs with immo inside?

Older post, but worth posting...

There are lots of tool available especially for the older ME7 ECU's.

I'm surprised that you have IMMO issues using MPPS as the area that it reads and writes to do not contain the IMMO code, that is in a different area of the ECU. Unless perhaps the chipped code was looking for the IMMO itself.

maybe the checksumm was causing the problem for the immo . one way to check would have be to do an immo delete see if car starts .
