Missing Channels

Hi Guys,

I have just put in new *** boxs up the stairs in 2 of my bedrooms, but am missing most of the channels? When i bring the box's back downstairs and plug them in there fine?

Anyone any ideas on what this would be?

PS Ive had the singnal tested by a friend, this all seems fine.

It can only be a signal issue if it works in one room and not another!! Check splitters and f's!!

Ive already checked all them, and as ive said b4, it just seems to be the upstairs? I does work, but its missing loads of channels.

The channels use different frequencies thats why you get some and not all!! - think of it like having an aerial and geting a good picture on bbc 1 but snowy on channel 5. It "works" but its not perfect!!

If its all fine downstairs it has to be a signal issue - whether thats the cable itself, the f's on the end or splitters!!
