mini one

Iam thinking of getting my daughter a mini one shortly and I was wondering if anybody on here had one. What I need to know is are they any good?,is the 1.4 litre any good or should i get the 1.6 is there anything I need to look out for in general.

just dont get anything pre 2004 unless its had the gearbox done, they put weak ass gearboxes in them up to 2004.

apart from that they seem bullet proof i had one but due to unforseen blah blah i had to let it go......gutted as id spent a fortune on it superchipped ect.....

parkers website usualy list the pros and cons to the cars and the engine sizes.
