does anyone understand how the temporary internet files work exactly. when im offline and i click History i can only view about half the sites which i have visited and the other half is greyed out. on the internet options, settings the amount of disk space to use for temporary internet files is set to 2384mb surely thats enough space to store webpages without deleting them. what could be the cause of this. thanks in advance for any help.

has anyone got a clue lol. if not can you recommend an alternative browser where i wouldnt have that problem.

You want to be able to view pages offline??? IE won't cache all pages automatically, some pages have secure content that won't be cached, some dynamic content won't be cached etc etc...
If you want to view stuff off line, add it to your favourite and tick the box 'make availble offline' you can then schedule when it will refresh etc..
