found this on a search because we have been trying to update a 78 and a 46dj and windows no longer recogizes these drives, however what we have found is that if you mod a new console that has not received the security update - brand new console today, you can flash this and then take the security update. we have also found that the new 78 drive that has received the update get no longer gets recognized by windows using the sata via chip.

hope someone out there is working on a hew hack for hitachis that have received the latest update.

hmmm this link only talks about the hypervisor and kernal vunrability hack

nothing saying about 78 drives
