Hi All,
if i wanted to start messing around with the images how would i start?
would i need special software?
am i right in thinking that everything is linux based?
would i have to use linux, or can i use windows?
i know it may not be for the feint hearted, but small steps to start me on way would be much appreciated.
thanks

Depends entirely on what you want to do to the images mate

That is to get a german image working then you start to play with all the other bits to get it stable and scanning properly.

If you want to make a menu like gavs then edit the /var/tuxbox/config/shellexec.conf from there you will find plenty of other things to edit.

Make sure you backup and number the backups as you may find you made an error 3 backups ago that you missed and have to back track.

Hope you have a spare box as the family will string you up as playing with the images becomes addictive :)

Have Fun

Ellie, thanks for that. i have a feeling that i may end up crashing the box more often than not!
Liam, don't know what i want to do with the image yet, just wanna nosey around it at the mo, then maybe i can offer more than just inane questions all the time!
