hey, finally got xbox media center working and it's great, only thing is that it keeps loosing connection to the network.
i have tried the network test on the xbox and it comes back as back wall so it's telling me that the connection is fine.
On the laptop i went to system monitor and run it to tell me network traffic, processor, disk cache and it's all small, obviously i get a spike when i 1st run media center, the processor is running between 3 - 10% when streaming, and the network is between 1 - 3 meg of data being transfered, disk cache is very low as well.
i have the laptop next door and that's connected to my router, if i transfer a 7 gig file over the network then it transfers none stop at about 12 - 15 meg a second and no breakup etc.....any ideas where to start?
change the laptop? (i was thinking processor but it's not even maxing out)
TIA.
