hi.guys just bought a max233 from jabsplace but it don't come with the cable that connects to the pins on the modem . could some on please tell me what i need to buy from maplins to make my own lead i no what it looks like but i don't the names of the connector or what time of cable to use .....any help appricated....thanx

have you got an old audio cable off a cdrom mate as you can make a cable with connector with that. Cant show u were to put the wire on the device you've got but if you post a pic i may be able to help

Open up your pc . there might be one in there.
I never used my one and never knew what it did.
You could just put wires on the pins. It probably should have come with a plug
Maplins sell plugs that would work. And you get the click in metal parts seperate. You really need to solder them to the wires though.
