Max 232 cable

I read in the Haynes Cable Modem guide. That you need a max232 cable for the ambit 200. I heard that you can make em yourself. How and what does it consist of?

the answer to your question is yes you can make them, obviously if premade the quality might be better than selfmade, with pre laminate boards

1x db9
1x max232cpe
4x 16v 10uf caps
some wire.

i brought 1 off wayne very nice too ..............then i thought i would try to do one i made a 233 that workd too but i would suggest you buy one from wayne his 232's look great and work mint as the phrase goes it does what it says on the tin
