Mario kart Controller Question

Hi guys

i would like to buy this game but before i do;

do you have to press a button to accelerate?

some games allow you to simply tilt the controller forward to accelerate others require you to press a button.

My six year old has a tendency to press buttons hard and for long periods (cos he thinks the car will go faster) this has caused him pain and so i will not buy any games that require buttons to be pressed for long periods, in a continuous stretch.

i would really appreciate your answer

you have to press the "1" button mate (i think! or 2 button)

you can buy a wheel for it, makes a bit easier for kids to play

I have a wheel and gamecube controller which i use for wii kart and you have too press a button too accelerate
