Mario Kart 8 has taken second place in the UK top 40, and given Nintendo their biggest Wii U game launch to date. Mario's masterful racer has also given Wii U a vital shot in the arm, increasing sales by 666%, 82% of which were the Mario Kart 8 bundle. That sound you just heard? Iwata and friends breathing a big sigh of relief. lol

Agreed, but prices will drop for a one and a half year old console
Nintendo have had to do something due to poor sales tbh and with the free give away game with MK8 its really good value and what Nintendo have to do to increase sales

It's good to see them fighting back though
