Manchester United thread

We looked like a team with several players coming back from injury. We could or should have stuck Mctominator in. Perhaps started with Pereira again.
We had no other choices up front, we played what we had.
Looked jaded, international break is welcome.

So the CL draw is complete, and bar the Liverpool draw, it looks hard for Man U and Spurs. Spurs must be gutted to have drawn the favourites of the tournament, as Utd will be gutted to have drawn the 2nd fav's of the tournament. Not out of the question for Utd to knock out Barca, but I do think it'll be very difficult for them.

Liverpool will be extremely pleased with the draw against Porto, only Ajax perhaps would've been a better draw. Still guaranteed at least 1 team in the Semis (Spurs/City).
2nd loss in a row, are the wheels coming off the OGS train, another poor performance yesterday, Wolves outplayed Utd and should've won by more.

Aaaw welcome back.

Ole at the wheel ffs Haha. Cant wait for him to get his psv licence now Mr gasman, he can park the bus good and proper then.😉😘🤣🤣🤣
Wonder if we still get the new manager upturn 🆒

With the players at the club and the style of football Ole implements, it's exciting times.

Let's be honest, they couldn't not install him as the perm boss. Anyone else who got appointed would simply have been compared to OGS, and questions asked why not OGS, should things have not gone as well.

Next season will be a big one for MU and OGS, and good luck to him, he deserves his chance, but it might be a completely different story 10 games into the new season. Your team is still a way behind those leading the pack imo, and it's going to take some great signings, and some tactical mastery to get near Man City and likely Liverpool. So whilst the resurgence is making fans happy atm, I wouldn't get carried away about reaching the heady heights of the SAF era.

Well, time will tell. He's already very close to both clubs in terms of points accrued since he took over.
Over the last ten matches (which includes the blip) United are second in terms of points.

City still face investigations over FFP so there's a possibility of a transfer ban and also exclusion from CL football. All of this will disrupt their ability to sign players. Under FFP rules they are competing with a transfer kitty similar to Cardiff City.

Do you deliberately dig up old tosh statistics to make Man United look good this Season gasman??. As for wishing and hoping that Man City get banned is another bitter effort to make your team look good. We dont need new players when our rookie team are coming along nicely now.😘🤣🤣

No, They are just the facts, since OGS took the wheel.

As for City, well, have a read yourself...there's plenty more articles around highlighting the findings below....
Man City FFP investigation: The allegations and potential punishments

Obviously, if you don't believe that it could happen, please see Barcelona, and more recently Chelsea football club.
Chelsea given two-window transfer ban by FIFA

Even if they get banned from transfers, their squad is so strong, you'd still have to spend 500 million to even get close. You're about 4/5 players away from challenging imo

They've already been transfer capped, so that turnaround is a couple of windows. Even without a ban.
