you'll be lucky to connect with a usb m8. try it though, if it doesn't work go ethernet

u will need the modem usb drivers to get it to work if u can get u online it should work

his internet works through usb, so just wondering if i can sniffs macs through usb

here`s the usb driver mate for the 250
regards biffo

The ethernet mac is the same as the HFC mac (Hybrid Fiber Coax Mac) which is the side thats facing the CC's servers. Basically the HFC mac is what the CC's servers handshake with. For more info click the link in my signature and download the Haynes Guide.

my mate tried it with the usb connection
he has a webstar(black)

and it gave him over 2000 macs, i made him search for 4 10mb ones, so i shud be sorted, just waiting for my sb4200i to come

thanks for your help

i'd say he'd be bloody lucky to connect with ethernet without a network card:eater:
