with the onset N3 been deciding wether to for vermin or sly, decided on vm xl package v+hd box.

had quick start, they send the box through the post and you set it up your self, well, here's the good bit, they've sent me two v+hd boxes :banana::banana: lucky me i think.

set box up, rung up and activated it, must say very impressed with it.

question is need to acctivate second box, if i ring them up to acctivate it will they realise that they have sent me two boxes ?

have checked online billing and account is for one box only so second box is definately a mistake on there part.

any advice would be greatly appreciated

No you won't be able to activate the second box.

yeah, I think when you call to activate it they check your account as people 'aquire' boxes from elsewhere and try and activate them. You could give it a try, worst case they will ask for the extra box back.

Yeah just blag them and say you thought it was a package thing... but tbh I would check your bill they have probably charged you for it any way lol

how about if i told them the first box developed a fault and they replaced it with a new one, would they have a record of the replacment, and or if they did activate 'replacment' box would they then deactivate original box ?

any thoughts ?

check your bill, I have just changed my second box that is in the bedroom for one of the new v hd boxes (very nice, small and compact), they will charge you £20 for quick start (have they charged you twice), they then deduct the £20 if you are lucky, I quized them about my quick start, and asked them to listen to my original request for a v box, the woman told me it would be a one off £49, and never mentioned the £20 quick start fee, I got it back.
