lost my slave harddrive

does anyone know a program that will recover my files on my e drive its shown the drive but when i click in to it it says its not accessable the file directory is cerupted or unreadable or any one know how to fix it thanx alot people cheers dannyboy

b4 u go too far as its a corupted file directory have u tryed chkdsk e: /f from dos/cmd line ? whist its not brillant its worth a try.

i assume u running winxp with ntfs file system ?

if above dont work try spinrite from grc.com

this will correct directry/format errors and recover any data

works from a boot floppy not windows so works at low level.
