Liteon LH-20A1PX win 7 driver

hey fellas,
trying to installl windows 7 o a netbook using this old portable dvd drive a liteon LH-20A1PX, but before installing windows asks for its driver, ive searched all over but can find it, any ideas? or will a generic one work? thanks in advance

If its a USB DVD drive you shouldn't need a driver.

it is mate, but the netbook asks for one before installation can continue

save yourself the hassle, if you have a spare pc and a memory stick. make a bootable win 7 usb.
i installed a new pc the other day, from first power up to working win7 in under 20 mins
