Linking Laptop to my PC ? How ??

Hi

I have a normal tower pc and my brother ha a wireless laptop.

They are both connected to the net via my wireless router.

Mine via a cable and my laptop is wireless.

How can i send stuff between them, Or look on his laptop via my pc and vice versa ?

Can it be done ??

First make sure both machines are in the same workgroup. Click 'START', right click 'My Computer', click 'properties'. In the window that opens click the 'Computer Name tab then click the 'Change' button, name both machines something obvious e.g. Daves-PC and Bobs-Laptop, make sure Workgroup is selected and change it to whatever you like e.g. DavesNetwork.

With Both PC and laptop in the same workgroup you should be able to set up filesharing, right click folder, click sharing and security. Just enable filesharing dont bothe with the wizard, theres no need. Just make sure any firewall you use allows this type of connection.
