Libby Comm Errors

I HAVE tried libby for the first time and i,m getting comm port errors,ive selected the corect comm port 1 nothing else is using it?whats wrong with this do i need a different serial lead?more to the piont i did,nt cut tb purposely as the box was regd to john doe,and then went of f after 2 months,absolutely no power,now there is full power again but stuck on pace so i am trying libby but can,t communicatewith stb di4001n.please help

4001 models cannot be used with libby software. only 1000,1000p1b,2000,4000,1010t,4000t can be used with libby
