You can also get a new SATA drive for £15.99 delivered:
LiteOn 20x DH-20A4P-21C DVD+/-/RW / RAM Black + Nero OEM Suite 3 Software

Been over to the dark side and they now have a post which reminded me, hehe. So for everyone after a DVD writer then this is a bargain price, with Nero software and free delivery.

I did see this the other day but forgot to post it as I got well drunk, lol, and was too busy posting the IDE one, which is a great price for anyone on a mega budget as most boards come with IDE, I think only Dell have phased them out? Someone may confirm this, but for every other person the original post is a great buy.

You will not find cheaper for either brand new drive with delivery included!!!

P.S. As usual if you do find cheaper then please let us know and share the love...;)

What computer are you using?

Anyway just download this:
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html

Then run it (or save it to your donwload folder), once it is running click on the storage option which is in the list on the left. Then click on optical, then copy and paste the model number on this thread.

In fact you can also click on the motherboard option and give us the model number which will give us more info.

Cheers.
