Not sure if I should put it in this section or general chat.....please move to correct if ness.............
I received a letter today from virgin media, regarding my account being unpaid and over due. The reason i haven't paid is because, i forgot last month...opsss and when this months bill came in, it came in at £66.00...WTF
I have basic package, with phone line rental free and free calls at weekends and evenings, although i don't use the phone line as i have the BT line with a broadband package on it, anyway, a guy phoned me a while ago about the account and i asked him why it was that high, he said 'you've got broadband, tv and telephone rental'........i think u best go and check that out cos i have'nt, my bill every month is £15, the non direct debit got waved from it a while ago when i refused to pay that and wanted to be disconnected, the guy was supposed to check this out and get back to me, however in the mean time i received another call from them by someone else saying the samething....errrrr doesn't anyone put notes on the file or corrospond at their end with each other, he knew nothing about the last call i had from the other guy, he's suppossed to be checking it out and getting back to me......still nothing until this letter arrived. Oh and by the way i'vealso had a letter saying that i mat have noticed my services have been disconnected....blar blar blar (errr not my end that have'nt, full package running nicely...lol) and this letter says, if i don't contact them they will dissconnect my services...lol
Anyway, point of this thread is about this letter i recieved from my own personnel manager
Dear Miss ***
I'm just writing to introduce myself as your personal account manager. I'll be looking after your while it's in arrears.
It would be grate if you could give me a call to discuss your account. That way we can arrange a repayment schedule and i can make sure no further action is taken. You can reach me Mon-Fri on 0800 ***** (yes a free phone number), or if you prefer to email, my address is *******@virginmedia.co.uk
The other way you can reach is to send me a text on ********* . I can't pick up calls on this number but if you text me and quote ****** reference then i'll get back to you as soon as i can
There are plenty of things that we can do to help you save money and avoid being dissconnected, so do try and get in touch as soon as you can
I look forward to hearing from you so that we can discuss your options.
Yours Sincerley
