LCD Screen

I have read the tutorial on how to eliminate the lines from the LCD screen on the box, But i would like to know of anyone who has actually done this succesfully.

I have only read one other post from a member who tried this and he actually cut the screen off, lol

and i dont fancy that!

Hi, I can say that I have given this a go and it removed MOST of the lines that were on my LCD. You have to be gentle tho. When I tried it it didnt get rid of all the lines but did get rid of 95% of them (it was a heavily damaged LCD so this may have had an effect)

This Screen is also heavily damaged, probably over 50 lines in it!!

hey i need to do this my lcd screen is soo bad but how do i open the dbox up what screwdrivers do i need der like a star screw on my nokia dbox

Long nosed pliers and a bit of bruteforce always does the trick
