Thinking about getting the Mrs a new laptop. I was looking at a Asus X5EAE Laptop from ebuyer, as I hate laptops with a passion personally does anyone have any experience with this model ?

It does come with 64 bit win 7 hopefully office ect would be able to be sourced from the usual places

They get a good write up pal, my only concern would be that the battery charge won't last a fantastic time in real world useage due to the Athlon (hot running) chip.

I would plump for one of the newer i3 chips that can be found in lappys from around the same price.

Cheers mate, to be honest he current one is rarely got the battery in and is run off the mains 24/7 so battery life anit a real issue. But I'll have a look at the one inthe link, cheers.
