Got a laptop problem is both the ram ports are knackered could someone recommend an aternative for ram is there something else that can be used as the ports are knackered other then this the laptop i have is fine any recommendations please!: big crow

If both slots are knackered mate , dont think theres anything you can do except replace the motherboard and that may not be worth it. Other than that look for an Identical model on ebay that has a buggered screen and make one good one out of two

If the RAM slots are knacked and it doesn't have any on board then you might as well chuck the whole lot in the bin if its more than 12 months old. Replacing laptop mobo's generally ain't worth the hassle or expense.
