The 1.5 version I used was downloaded from here in Feb this year in a .rar format.
and worked perfectly until this week .
Have tried deinstalling then reinstalling but get same result.
Have also tried installing it on my Tab 3 but get same result telling me that V 1.7 is available.
Is the V1.5 ad free still available for download as I cant find it.

I still get that damn Update page which leads me nowhere in the end.
Why only me ??

Just delete your present La Deportes and download Deportes update as a new app

and Install .... a few adds , but they don't spoil your main viewing

There's no ads la deportes 1.5 and works fine

This was my method for La deportes update .
Download the offered update to your downloads .
Then, uninstall your existing La Deportes .
Install your update as a New app .

After a Long hard struggle – Ive Hacked it !
De-installed the app
Reboot the system
Switch to aeroplane Mode
Reinstall app
App shows ‘No Internet’
Switch Aeroplane Mode Off
App works properly but only if left on .

NOTE: If app is switched off at this point then back on again the update to 1.7 Page appears; and one has to return to action 1 again.

Reboot the system
Switch to Aeroplane Mode again
Run the app
App shows ‘No Internet’
Switch aeroplane Mode off
App works perfectly and permanently

I have successfully carried out this procedure on my 3 Android devices

@manic01,
As I said in an earlier Post "Why Me" Has no one else had this problem ?
I can only think it is something common that is used on all three devices
like IP Provider, Kaspersky, etc as it is obviously activated by something on line
I have my suspicions about Google Play Protect but switching it off didn't appear
make any difference
Anyway its all sorted for now hopefully.
