just a little advice needed please

Hi guys,

when looking through the internet, ive seen CAMS mentioned a few times but i dont know anything about it so woundering if someone could just explain the basics to me

i have just bought a hd lcd tv with built in freeview. it has a cam slot on the side. does this mean i can buy a CAM and somehow program it so i recieve 'sly' channels??? if so, what would it cost to get me setup and watching the channels and if not, what do u get for buying and programming a CAM.
