doin this jtag thingy the now, but with the tut i am using is gives me this--
VCC – PIN 2 GND – PIN 6
TDI – PIN 3 TCK – PIN 7
TMS – PIN 5 TDO – PIN 9
what colour of wires is which on the jtag i have?
colors i have are, brown, red, blue, yellow, green, black and grey.

ok, now i got all the software i need, fire it up and do all the stuff needed.
when i click connect using sdt i get an "internal error 43" message.
checked all the connections and they look ok. anyone have any ideas?

also when i boot up the pc, the front off the box starts going nuts with numbers counting up. that meant to happen?

try connecting pins 8 & 15 on the back of the parallel connector to get rid of the internal error 43 message

cheers mate.. i was gonna link the pins on the chip, glad u said the parallel connector.. all sorted now.

i have succesfully achieved what i set out to do
