here go's for the best stupid question i am trying to do my 1st box and all im getting is communications error pc to target cable disconected can anybody tell me where im going wrong im useing a pogo jatag and trying to do a pace 4000 box

make sure you are connected to pl5300 with your pogos

i am connected it might sound stupid but your box doesnt need to be powered up does it ?

only power lead and scart , no cable feed as far as i know

ok ive managed to get bk and ird and i think ive cut feedback when i plug it in now i get the top light on perminant and the middle light flashes on and off does anybody know if it is safe enough or is there anyway of finding out apart from a knock at the door lol

Thats it mate, but if you wanna check, go to sm9 and see if you can access it, or go to on demand, if you get error message MO44, your OK!!
