I just had a ponder🤔

Would you use the same energy/ calories jogging a route on the flat, as an up/ down route same distance (equal up and downs)
Hmmm🤔

You would find that running up a hill increases intensity and heart rate will increase and this will burn more calories.

some people slow down running up a hill but to improve overall fitness you should aim to run the same speed up or down hill, this requires an increase / decrease in the intensity but the benefits of the increased intensity up hill improves overall speed and fitness.

Thats why Farlek training should be a weekly addition to your Schedule.
