iPhone itunes help

hi
i need to reinstall itunes on my pc for ipod and iphone 3g jailbroke.
what version do i need to install, was not sure if they might be any confliction with it being jailbroke with what version i was using.
i had 9.1

hi mate with the new jailbreak update to the latest 9.2.1 youll be ok

i forgot to mention what firmware i was on?
its 3.1.2 firmware.

yep your ok mate i was on 3.1.2 restored to lastest fw , updated my itunes and then jailbroke

but will i have to get the phone re broke if i install the itunes
