Is a new flash safe to go on live?

I have been reading that a flashed Xbox 360 can now safely go on Live without getting banned.

Is this 100% true?

If so I may as well get mine flashed. If there is a chance of getting banned then it is a no go.

There is no proof that the latest iXtremem firmware is 100% watertight, it certainly appears to be much more secure than previous version but a few people here and there are still being banned, it's unclear wether or not these bans are a result of other activities or perhaps the console was flagged for banning before they upgraded to iX 1.4.

The simple answer is NO, you are not 100% safe.
