anyone recommend it, or is it better to go hard wired or home plugs

Not sure about the new highest definition but the old stuff only used ~4Mbps so you're probably fine with newer WIFI and traffic.

Hard wired if at all possible as have seen issues with home plugs many times

I'm using my duo2 over vm wifi..lots of stuttering and pic freeze..best hardwired..

works fine on my samsung tv over wireless and my android box which is upstairs.

Think it depends if your running new type wireless or old slow wireless and how your house is built\what he surrounding environment is like.

New AC can run at around a gig per second which is more than adequate for IP streaming I stream FHD with wireless. The old style 54MB although in theory "should" be ok can be laggy.

Older granite (yes granite :)) houses have issues with wireless Ive also seen issues with wireless in newer builds with cellotex insulation. Also steel girders have caused issues.

My rule of thumb is if I can wire it do so if I cant then wireless.
