The playlist entry needs the long line only as the user and pass is in the line.

You dont have a portal mate just a playlist line a true portal would look like this

http://nameserver2.com:8080/c/

No username and password are need for a stalker portal.

You can of course run portals on the a6 but your line is m3u

Having a look at it i suspect mac tied, and needs verified that way.
Im thinking the “playlist” should be the DNS like:
http://hisdns.org/c

Ask your provider to move your line over to mac lines.
(only administrator of panel can do it)
He will give you different URL to MPGETS and be more like URL like one i mentioned.
Give him the mac address then after typing DNS try it.
(or ask him for mac line to test)

It can not be mac tied as he can enter his line in a browser and download a m3u file with it thats why i asked that question.

Yes mate of course you can create an M3U in browser with MPGETS URL.
But photo he uploaded has his mac address stamped above portal editing.
If the line was setup for user/pass it will not connect in portal with the URL he has with his user/pass in it.
That is why i suspect it may run like a magbox.

The A6 displays it in case he was to use a portal so he can pass that on to his provider, but its not relevant in this case as a m3u line needs no mac authentication. With a m3u line he needs to use the play list entry not a portal entry, the box will read the line just like the browser and downloads the m3u and thats it.

As its not showing any channels it not doing this so either the lines not typed in correctly or the box has issues using the line.

The line looks very similar to the line I use and I don’t use a MAC address. I just add the line to what ever app I am using and it load the channels. I also have separate url for the epg which I add as well...

The arrow in green points to the playlist entry mate i can see what you saying though the pop box saying portal.

Never have i seen adding “playlist” open up portals. Especially when there is option of portals above “playlist”.
Thats what made me think the portal could only be used for that box, or would not posted what i did in post #80.
I would imagine you add playlist then enter the URL and away you go..... for portal to open up is strange. As portal address is different to URL.
Certainly keeping my lids on this thread.

Ive been reading up on them for last half hour and a portugese forum seems to report the A6 playlist entry has an issue and there is an over the air update available to correct it.

So @johnny bravo under settings check if there is an update available. If not id be asking the shop you got it from about it.

Looks like issue may be resolved as fault is with that model of box it seems to be.
You can “not” enter MPEGTS or TS URLs the portal. Although the path you went @johnny bravo seems correct. The portal should “NOT” open.
As @Ferret says..... try to update as they seem to be aware of it. If not contact the supplier you got box of, or revert back to my post #80.
Personally i would want it running the way you want, if that URL or mac. But seems you only have one option as it stands.

just an update..got it working eventually, with the help of my providr, had network issues, too be honest i thought it would be a lot quicker then my duo2 with jedimaker but im still having issues , ytird different iptv apps...so slow some of them, channel changes were slow, its a bit too techy for me...has latest firmware and updates..

just an update..got it working eventually, with the help of my providr, had network issues, too be honest i thought it would be a lot quicker then my duo2 with jedimaker but im still having issues , ytird different iptv apps...so slow some of them, channel changes were slow, its a bit too techy for me...has latest firmware and updates..

Nice one did you get it working on the MyTv app ? Becuase its one of the best IPTV apps out there.

mytv doesnt work...i used smarters IPTV app ...working ok, just need to get use to it..only problem is this app has adds in it...guess they want you purchase the ads free version...i wanted to try MyTV app but just doesnt work..its difficult getting use to watching iptv on android box..as im use to my duo2 . ..i have the latest system update version 1.0.15 released on 3/12/2019 for the amiko, however there is a beta version 1.0.17 release on 3/1/2020....i wonder if i should update it ? perhaps there is a fix in it for MyTV...then again beta versions are guinea pig versions lol ?

Id run the update as it is reported that sorts the m3u connection problem out.If not id be having a word with the seller of the box mate because the MyTV app runs rings round anything out there and the A6 is advertised as beem able to run a m3u playlist.

Having used a few apps now I can honestly say mytvonline2 is best then Smarters. SkyQ is pretty decent on z8 but bit fiddly on Firestick smart iptv on tvs comes last. I like smarters for its portability
