noticed today have a small hairline crack on the back of my iphone running about 1" starting just above the power socket.. is this likely to invalid the warranty i.e they will just say any problem is down to that and its obviously been dropped you cant really see it but you can feel it..

Same happened to me mate small crack in the same place took it in to apple store guy looked at it and made me an appointment to bring it in on the Thursday. They just got a new one out swapped it over no questions asked, swapped Sim and data, did some paperwork and that was it. I would say it probably still needs to be in warranty though.

yeah cool mate, googled and seems a few people have managed a replacement mine is well in warranty so will take it back next week ideal thanks for heads up

Again its apples shoddy plastics they have out sourced... same happens to mac books cracks all around the edge, they will replace the whole keyboard section even out of warranty I have had mine done twice now :(

they will also replace the power supply of mac books if it helps anyone ;)

ok, well i`ll let you all in on a little secret......................................ready.................................

dont buy anything apple ;) ............................................................

cuz there overpriced and flawed, bit like most tech today, except it annoys people still buy it because it has apple on the side, oh and they make you have facist software ;)

just my opinion, and yes i have had apple stuff, quite a few times, never again ;)

well just back and they swapped it over no bother ...... have to say not a massive apple fan but the levels of support are outstanding..

How can it be facist? it is available across other os's is windows media player 11?
btw there are alternatives to itunes :) I don't use itunes on my mac.

not a fan boy but you have to admit that for a company that can make so much money time and time again with not a massive amount of tv marketing etc must have some thing right.

its just my opinion mate, when i first got an ipod way back there where no other alternatives, and i dont like the fact that it practically takes over your pc and quite alot of process`s in the background.

i just dont like apple.

not a lot of advertising, maybe but very clever, its not an item anymore, its a brand, a fashion icon, a nessecity (i canny spell it).
