Sim-Only Contract

Sim-only works like this: Handset which you purchase separately + 30 day or 12 Month sim-only contract = Total

At time of writing neither O2 or Vodafone are selling the iPhone 4 as PAYG at launch. The only way you can get an iPhone 4 with a sim-only contract at launch is by obtaining a iPhone 4 from an Apple store. The below totals are therefore based on the current sim-free pricing from Apple (16GB = £499 / 32GB = £599)

However there is no confirmation at time of writing that O2 or Vodafone will transfer your sim-only tariff onto a micro sim. Therefore the table below is provided for information only and not intended to be a statement of official policy on launch

Pay Monthly Table

The table is sorted intuitively on three factors: (1) Capacity of 16GB/32GB (2) £ payable monthly and length of contract (3) Total payable when factoring in handset cost.
Note that where known "U/L" has been changed to an actual figure to reflect a fair usage policy in operation. The table will therefore differ in appearance from the network links above

Dont bother until the 2nd generation comes out. Let them iron out all the problems. And tbh are the things on offer worth £500? I only paid £460 for my iphone 3gs in janurary. I aint forking out £500 just to have a gyroscope!

my contract of 25 per month runs out this month and i have an N73 which is old and they do the iphone for me at 25 per month and 219 squid for the phone and i have never had one before see we will see hoe it goes

im with you man, dont see the need to update, i have the 3gs and it will run the same software i rarely use the camera so no real rush to upgrade, if i didnt have the 3gs reckon or even a 3g i would deffo be getting one, but dont see it as a massive upgrade.
