iPhone Iphone 3gs Help

Problem:
I was on 4.0.1 Jailbroken using Jaibreakme, before I could get my shsh on file i went into phone settings and erased iphone (thinking this would just erase data off phone) Instead it has wiped the whole phone

Now when i switch on i get apple sign and the loading rotating apple which eventually stops and crashes there

I can however go into DFU mode, but when i then try to restore even when it is to 4.0.2 i get an error message stating "this device is not eligable for this build"

Please Help

i used recboot,this will take your iphone out dfu mode.

Ok you have downloaded the wrong version of the fw. There are 2 types one for 2g phones, and one for 3g phones. Ensure you have the correct version of your iphone, I know this, because I dd the same. Downloaded the correct one, and worked perfectly.
