IP addy ?

How do i find my ip addy ? Do i type something into a command prompt ? I seem to remember doing something like that once.BTW i'm with virgin.I've looked in my routers home page but its running sigma and just shows the mac addy

For local IP add then in cmd type ipconfig /all
if u using vista it is the IPv4 address is the one u want

I assume you are looking for your public internet address.

If your modem is connected directly to your computer and not via router then you can type the following in a command prompt.
ipconfig

If you are connected via a router then the router admin page will display your public internet address.
