Hi ,
Looking for some advice on how to go about distributing signal for a house that is allready wired back to the attic..
Heres the senario..
1.I want to install a Motorised tm6900hd in my sitting room for hd tv..

2. I want a cheap sat box for my Bedroom and for my kitchen..
All these rooms have points wired back to my attic..

What i need to know is...
Do i need to get a quad lnb for the satellite and wire each point separately or can i use a single lnb and have the same signal going to all points and have the tm6900hd in sitting room controlling the motorised dish..
If i have a single lnb set up will this mean that the stb's in bedroom and kitchen will only be able to pick up the satellite that the tm6900hd is pointed at???
any help would be appreciated...
Also can anyone recommend a cheap stb for bedroom and kitchen???

hi there you could install a quad lnb on the dish and run one cable from the tm-6900 to the motor and then to the lnb. The other three points left on the lnb will then go to the other recievers . The only problem with that is the other three recievers will only pick up the sat which the motor is pointing to So the main reciever if you like is the Tm-6900. AS for a cheap box for the bedromm and kitchen I would recomend the Tm3100 or the Tm 5200.

cheers alan..
i was talking to a guy in sat shop today and thats what he suggested..
