Hi just a note to anyone else who's been having problems programming with a USB infinity.
I was having loads of probs but a mate advised me to get rid of loads of the windows XP stuff that was running but I didn't need. Also to make sure no other progs that I didn't need were auto starting. I found this site

this helped out loads and now after ditching a few bits of XP and a couple of other progs my infinity USB seems to be working fine and proged a MOSC first time.
