infinity phoenix true compatibility is very good, ive read posts about incompatibility with dynamite and some types of atmega it is supposed to support. Not too sure about the unlimited though.

i have only ever used infinity Phoenix, but its never let Me down

Got to agree with cliffy, Infinity USB Phoenix goes well with my old PC (museum piece) I had probs using the infinity USB unlimited on it but O K on the newer system.
Really it depends on your system if you only have USB and no serial port unlimited maybe the way to go?

But that said there the only ones I have used.

Ok, so i hav decided to get infinity..BUT WHICH ONE!!!! The unlimited version or the Phoneix, the phonix costs more so there must be sum kind of difference...

Hi m8
I can vouch for the unlimited.

I am very new to all this and it has been easy to use with software updates available from website.

You can now read and backup phone sim cards with it. I don't know if you can with the other one. Hope this helps

do i have to have both serial and usb lead connected to my pc and dynamite in order to read NTL card..? I tried reading my NTL card using dynamite with only usb lead plugged in and i couldnt read. basically its locked card rom 10.

Never had much of a problem (turn verify off on ATMega).

And when i got mine it was cheaper than the other one.......

but i dont think you will go far wrong with either mate

Unlimited for me.
Wasnt to good at the start but when they sorted the vcp out worked a treat.
Never had a prob with it and it dos sim cards also.
