This may be a very silly question, but I can't find the answer. Here goes, are the images for the DB500 the same for each variant? i.e. the image for the 500s is the same as the 500c?

If not how can I let I have the right image BEFORE I flash (toast) my DB500s.

Thanks.

I'm using the factory image, as I'm still learning about the DB.

Under Mount Manager, enter the IP of the Server (Windows 2003 in my case) CIFS (this is more compatible with Windows), Dir the share name of the windows folder (Linux is case sensitive!) LocalDir set to /mnt
Options I left this BLANK. Complete the user name and password details for the windows share folder and save the settings. Then select mount. The biggest tip is to plug in the network cable, as I've just spent 10 minutes trying to work out why it had stopped working!

Then from the File Menu navigate to root then mnt and all your files should be there.

I think i know why my dbox is not mounting, its file system is set to read only!
