Just a quick one. I've been experiencing a lot of trouble getting IFA to work on my box. Tried switching off the power, tied the rest and up arrow buttons, tried the "it takes a few goes" method, and my box resolutely refused to go past the "Hallenberg" lcd display.
Well, last night I tried WITHOUT the null modem cable - so no progress messages on the pc screen. But, the box lcd immediately went to the "Flashing" display, followed a few minutes later by "Flashing done".
So, if anyone has trouble like this, then give it a go without the null modem cable - it might just work for you.
