ok its a stolen cheque book/copied cheque book. They send you the cheque - you send them the excess money when the cheque clears. When the owner of the account finds out, the cheque bounces and then you have been scammed!!!!

yeh it was in the paper a few month ago
mick

tell the fecker to send you cash then bank it and tell him to feck off

Scam mate, 'Peter Forbes' used to 'live' in France and offered to buy my mates car as well a few months ago with the same plan.

Surprised he hasn't changed his name!

Thanks m8s for your kind replies

thanks guys anyway

Rip off, you see these all the time on ebay, especially with mobile phones

Rip Off. Cheque will clear. You pay money to send item and the rest. Bank finds cheque is forgery and looks to you to give money back. You have lost item you are selling and also out of pocket.

A friend got caught with it.

B****s
