I.P Address on Starview box?

Does the starview box have an ip address? like for example the Dbox, the reason I ask is that a lot of bouquet software needs an ip to connect to box via ftp or telnet.

If not, is there any software about that gives you the abilty to edit channel listings etc?

the answer to the i.p adress question is no...and the way to get your channell listings is to get somebody to upload your areas...then download em to your box...im sure when you(we) finish our post creteria they will be loads out there...so next time you sort ya channells into some kind of order..save them to your p.c to be used in future and for other peeps in your predicament..

there is a channel editor available for the starview box. it lets you edit your channel list on your pc in minutes rather than doing it on the starview with the remote.
