i cant install or uninstall any programs windows 10

there used to be a slider that you adjusted i think in microsoft that used to block it but i cant find it ???

Try settings / windows security / app & browser control, and under "check apps and files" set it to off

if that does not work then I would look towards account administrator settings or 3rd party security programs

thanx for the reply kryton , seemed like there was some sort of registry thing going on with my computer with folders etc so i decided to wipe it and reinstall windows again , all good now ...
