Humax PVR9200t hangs since update

Hi

I have inherited a Humax PVR9200t with an issue that it hangs on startup. I believe that this is since a firmware update. The update was not interrupted and completed as it should/wanted to but ever since, the PVR will just hang with a please wait screen.

Anyone had the same or offer any ideas to a cure??

Try removing the aerial with the box powered off completely, power up and reboot the box and do a reset to defaults (MENU/Installation/Default Settings). Turn off replace the aerial and repeat the reset. After channel scan good idea to delete unwanted channels.

Current Firmware is: 1.00.23

I do have a slight issue though. I disconnect the aerial as you say but when i plug in/switc on i just get --:-- on the clock and Pleas wait on the screen. I do not even get far enough to select anything from the menus.
